Raymond Graham Obituary

Raymond R. "Rainbow" Graham, 89, of Clearfield, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025 at Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield.

Born February 18, 1936 in Egypt, PA, the son of Robert and Nancy (Krebs) Graham.

He was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School.

Mr. Graham worked in surface mining and retired from Lady Jane Colleries after 33 years of service.

He was a member of the Grace United Presbyterian Church of Glen Richey.

Raymond was a 50-year member of the former Clearfield Masonic Lodge # 314 F & AM and member of Clearfield F.O.E. Aerie 812, Clearfield VFW Michael Sicks Post # 1785, Clearfield S.O.I. and Dry Hollow Camp. He was a lifetime member of the Glen Richey Fire Company. When attending the clubs he liked signing the books.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and at camp with his buddies. His interests were hunting, camping, traveling, square dancing, NASCAR and sports.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Barbara (Larson) Graham whom he married on February 18, 1956, two children: Robert R. Graham and his wife Debora (Balocco) and Cynthia M. Aughenbaugh and her husband Richard, three grandchildren: Alyssa Graham Solt, Bradley Aughenbaugh and Matthew Aughenbaugh, two great grandchildren: Joseph Solt and Grant Aughenbaugh, a future great granddaughter, Paisleigh Ann Aughenbaugh, a sister, Donna Evans, numerous nieces and nephews and life long friends, Sissy and Benny Sprankle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings: Harriet Goodrow, Doyle "Chub" Graham, Esther Rougeux, Ada Bain, Shirley Swatsworth and Connie Rowles and Baby Boy Graham, infant son of Robert and Debora.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 4:00 PM with Commissioned Lay Pastor Leanne M. Peters officiating.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 PM until the hour of services. The Masonic Noble Lodge # 480 will conduct a service at 3:45 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Grace United Presbyterian Church, c/o Debora Graham treasurer, 261 Ridge Avenue Extension, Curwensville, PA 16833 or Glen Richey Fireman's Association, 86 Firehouse Road, Glen Richey, PA 16837.
