Not sure what to say?

I will always remember Ray. I met him when he worked in Goulds Music store in Flushing. Then one Sunday night he was playing his trumpet for my church. We dated for awhile and he was my first love. He took me to many concerts and taught me about the love of music. He was 8 yrs. older than me at the time and it wasn't meant to be. So glad he went on to influence so many young people to play the trumpet. I know he will be missed.

It was a privilege to have know Mr. Heller, although, for a brief time.
His openness to those who love playing music was undoubtedly very rewarding.

It was a privilege to have played under
Mr. Heller's baton as a flutist in the Rutherford Community Band. Have great
memories of him.
My deepest condolences.

It was an pleasure learning to play the trumpet & baritone from you and playing in both your high school and community bands. You will be missed.

My condolonces to the great Mr. Heller. Find comfort in all the young musicians you inspired over your tenure. You have left an indelible mark on all of us.
