Not sure what to say?

One of the BEST! Ray will be sorely missed. First, he was a colleague and then became a dear friend. He listened, was a witty storyteller and loved to help out when needed. A giant curmudgeon who had a hilarious sense of humor and most importantly was a loving and devoted husband and father. Marilyn and Alex may his memory be a blessing and sending caring thoughts. Rhonda Burnim

Marilyn, I am so very sorry to hear of Rays passing. I wanted to reach out and express my sincere condolences to you and Alex. Although many years have passed, I still remember the kindness that you and showed to Daniel and I always. That generosity and warmth have always stayed with me, and I am truly grateful for it. Please know that you are in my thoughts during this time of loss. I hope you are surrounded by love, comfort, and support, and that memories of happier times bring you some...

Dear Marilyn, So sorry to hear of Ray´s passing. We spent time together at Bethesda with his parents and brothers. I always enjoyed his company. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Clare Johnson Couture

We are deeply saddened by Ray´s passing. He was a great guy with a wicked sense of humor, which delighted everyone, especially during family get-togethers. Ray and Marilyn´s annual family Christmas Eve parties were always special and memorable, especially when he was Santa for the little ones. Dave remembers Ray fondly from those wonderful Shady Brady´s days in the 70´s, where his Hamden Fire Department softball team hosted our opponents after each home game. We, our children and...

Ray was such a great neighbor to all the neighborhood kids. He was always funny and kind to us and a genuinely good person.

Marilyn- I´m so sorry for your loss. Both of my boys have always said that Winding Brook was the best place ever to grow up, and Ray was always at the heart of our old neighborhood.

Marilyn I am so sorry for your loss. Ray was a great guy and he will be missed. May your fond memories comfort you at this difficult time. Deepest condolences Ed Hoefer

My siblings and I (and my oldest kiddo) will never forget the magic Ray made wherever he was - family picnics, pool parties, Christmas smorgasbords - he always had us laughing. Wishing you comfort and peace, Marilyn and Alex. May his memory be ever a blessing. Love, Wendy and Andy
