Not sure what to say?

I am saddened to learn at this late date of Ray's death in 2021. He was one of my professors at Colby in the 1970s. I did an independent study with him on Jewish American literature that I remember to this day. I'm a better writer and person for having known him. May he rest in the embrace of Hashem.

I miss Ray. Thanks to his knowledge and our conversations, I discovered current writers I would not have known. His literary knowledge was contagious. He was a special presence in our KCC family.

I fondly remember working with Ray at Kingsborough Community College. We worked in the same ESL program. He was a resource for books. He read voraciously, so I could get a recommendation at any time. His students really respected him too.

Ray and I shared a classroom. Because I often stayed late and he often came in early, we had time to talk about things other than work. I miss those times. He really cared about the people around him, was a voracious reader, and enjoyable to be with. He made CLIP a better place to be.

Dear Kathy and Adam, I have heard about Ray with pain and tears. He was and still is one of the best friends of mine. A few month ago I wondered to have a chanse to meet him and share love and grief about tragedy of Holocaust. Ray will stay forever in my mind and touching memories of our meetings in Kraków. I send you from depth of my heart condolences and I enshure you that you will stay in my heart the closest Friends as Ray do. Hugs and love, yours Antek
