Not sure what to say?

To Ray's Family I happened across Ray's obituary notice tonight by accident My name is Steve Clifford and I met Ray in the late 80's early 90's. I was running extremely competitive adult hoop leagues up to pro-am levels and quite frankly I was losing control of the program. Then miraculously a friend asked me if I knew this guy Ray from Red Dot Mason and I said no Honestly, the league was teetering on the whole black/white tension and I called this ref Ray Didn't know one thing about him,...

My sincere condolences to Ramona, Mark&June, Derek & Family. Your Dad was so nice. I can still hear his laugh. Everyone loved your dad. My Dad loved coaching Basketball w him. He was a friend to all. . May he rest in peace . May his memories comfort you when you are sad. Linda Patti (Fresh)

To the Nicholas Family: Sending my deepest heartfelt condolences to you all. May God grant you peace and comfort in this time of despair In God's love, your Niece, Evangelist Beverly Baker-Ruff

Ray Nichols was one of the nicest guys I ever met. We knew each other through basketball and became friends. God Bless Ray Nichols and All Who Love Him.

Mr Nichols was truly a great man in every aspect. Not only could he wear a suit and tie and be the utmost professional but could also hang out and converse on any level. Growing up in the same neighborhood Ray was a father figure to all of us kids not only his own. Whenever I saw him he always wore a smile which would turn into his famous sleeping grin as he would remark "what are you goofballs up to now?!" Words cannot express how much he will be missed by is all, rest in peace.

I am representing a team of people who worked with Ray at the Strategic Pricing Group. I have accumulated remembrances from over 30 of Ray's former teammates at SPG. Unfortunately, I cannot post the accumulated comments because of size. In summary it is truly remarkable what a difference Ray made to all of our lives. He was truly loved and respected by all of us. I will give the family a document with all the responses at the memorial service. I have also included a picture from Ray's...

My heart is heavy with the lost of my Uncle Raymond - He was the Matriarch of our Nichols family and will be greatly missed. I will miss our phone conversations and the history of growing up with my grandparents Lillian & Harold Nichols, since I was only 4 years old when Nana went home. I enjoyed hearing your memories of her. RIHP Uncle Raymond Nichols Love and Miss you Your 1st cousin (Kim)

My sincere condolences to Ramona, Derek and family, June and my "adopted" son, Mark. I know Ray rests in peace and watches over all of you- as he always did. Love, Carole Dinneen
