Dear Arlene,
I just learned of Ray's passing. Katie and I want to extend our belated condolences. He was a true gentleman, one whom I am grateful to have known. Our love to you and your family.

Thinking of Dad today on his 2 -year Yahrzeit. We carry his spirit , his values, and his love with us everyday.

Tomorrow we are selling Dad and Mom's apartment in NYC. An end of an era for us. Such generous, loving and wonderful parents. We are grateful and we miss them both.

Dads Yahrzeit is on Sunday. Its so hard to believe hes been gone a year. We think of him every day.

I saw Dr. Raskin over the course of several years, starting in 2007. He was so helpful to me as I dealt with depression following a cancer treatment. I never felt so "seen" nor so profoundly understood in any therapy situation. I knew I was so fortunate to get to know him a bit in those late years of his career, and my life was changed and made better by the attention and care he gave to me. Ray was a warm, genuine and down to earth psychoanalyst. I was fortunate to have him as a supervisor early on in my training also appreciated his wisdom and kindness.
