Not sure what to say?

RIP Ray...always a good man. Always seemed to have a smile on his face.

Ray Schmelter was my practice teaching mentor in 1966 at the campus school. When the 'new math' was being introduced. He was one of the best teachers I've ever seen. Very demanding.

So sorry for your loss. Dr. Schmelter was a wonderful leader at Campus School. He always had a smile and kind word for everyone. My deepest sympathy to you all.

I was a Campus School kid from kindergarten thru 9th grade. I had the pleasure of becoming his daughter Mara best friend and grew up enjoying his family. He will always be a legend in my eyes, a excellent dad, husband and principal. RiP Dr. Schmelter, your with the love of your life Peggy and Jesus. You ran the good race and your children will always admire you, along with anyone who was fortunate enough to cross paths with you and your family in your journey of life. You will be missed...

To Ray, Michael and family, My deepest condolences on your loss. May you remember your loved one with a smile. Hugs to you all.

During the past two years that Ed has been at PVHC, we got to know and admire your Dad. He loved sharing stories of his teaching experiences and he was especially proud of his time in the Navy. What a truly remarkable man who will be missed by so many people! Our deepest sympathy to his entire family.

I was a campus school kids for two years in Junior high. I had him as my math teacher and he was a very good teacher as well as a wonderful caring person. He will be greatly miss by all that knew him. He is still watching his family from above. So sorry for your lost.

My condolences to your family. I spent many very happy years at Campus s school and always remember Dr. Schmelter with a smile every morning.
