Raymond Shangle

As a high school friend of Danene´s I spent a lot of time at the Shangle´s home. I remember long conversations with Ray about politics and labor relations and he would tease me about my opposing views (he called me Republican and I called him Democrat). I learned so much from him about looking at things from a different perspective. Ray was one of the first neighbors we met when we moved into the neighborhood so many years ago. He was such a kind man, full of stories and a smile on his face. We´ll always treasure getting to know him while out on a daily walk or chatting on the street or his backyard. Our dog Bandit really took a shine to Ray and would want to stop and say hello whenever we crossed paths.
