To the Shepley family. My father, Anton (Bud) Williamson Jr. served with Mr. Shepley many years at the Southside Kiwanis Club. When researching the history of Southside, I instantly recognized Raymond Shepley name.
Reading Raymonds history, he certainly served his fellow human beings to the fullest.

My father passed in 2000. He was two time president of Southside Kiwanis and was very sad when the club had to end. He loved working for the organization. Hopefully Raymond and my father are now remembering all the hard work they did together.

Best wishes. Michael Williamson

Please accept my condolences on your loss of Colonel Shepley. It was my privilege to have served under then Capt. Shepley in the 28th Ord. Co., at Camp Rucker, AL and also in North Africa and Italy. I remember him as a fine officer and gentleman. It was just today that I was going through my old files and came upon a Christmas 1942 menu and roster of the unit members. I realize that this goes back many, many years but at my age these old remembrances are precious.
Sincerely, Cornell Jaray
