Not sure what to say?

Missing such a witty and clever lady educator and friend.

Always remembering her funny personality and warm spirit! Will miss her.

Remembering, Rayna...the warm smile and pleasant disposition. She was the English teacher and department head over at Strawberry Mansion.

I remember Rayna from Olney high school. We sat next to each other in our home room because of our last names. Rayna was always honest, funny and whip smart. I´m so impressed with her teaching abilities but not surprised. She was one of a kind. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. May her memory be a blessing. One of a kind a complete original. I still quote some of her comments to my kids.

I just learned of Raynas passing a short time ago. I always talked about Rayna as we attended Olney High School together and we're in the same home room and sat near each other as my last name was Blank and she was Block. Rayna was bright, sharp, smart and most of all honest. She would have something to say about everything whether kind or just plain honest but you always knew where you stood with her. I often recite some things she said to me during our time at Olney....

Remembering a great person. From the years down at Strawberry Mansion high school. Comical and wise. God bless and continual prayers for the family

Always,r emembering Rayna! God Bless!

I have no doubt that she lived a full, inspiring, and fulfilling life.

I just happened to be watching an interview with a celebrity on television who said his greatest influence was his favorite English teacher and I thought of mine and decided to google Rayna Goldfarb and was so sad to see her obituary. This woman changed my life forever. She is singlehandedly responsible for my love of books and the reason I started a book club. She was so special to my class (class of 1977 University City) that when she was expecting her first child we surprised her...
