Rebecca Vila Obituary
Rebecca Vila was born on May 10, 1949 to the late Ralph Vila and Rafaela Melendez. She lived a great long life to the age 76. She passed away on September 18, 2025 in the comfort of her own home. She is survived by her son Marion Ross, daughter Natasha Singletary, grandchildren Starquiasha Singletary, Benaton Ross, Nicholas Ross, Quintessence Conyers, Poetry Conyers, great-grandchildren Justin Singletary-Wells, ZaDarius Ross, and brother Larry Vila Sr. She was preceded in death by her son Lamont Singletary and her late sister Rose Vila.
Rebecca was a Caleb member at the Universal Church where she went to services rain or shine. She enjoyed spending time with the youth group YPG either talking with them or playing her favorite game Chinese Checkers. She also enjoyed cooking for family and friends and spending time with her family going to Six Flags in different states.A Celebration of Life will be held at Universal Church on 172 N. Allen Street Albany NY 12206 on Saturday October 4, 2025 at 11am with her repass following right downstairs of the church.
