Reecie Mae Byard, age 90, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 2025 at McReynolds- Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Revs. Jeff Burris and Steve Murphree officiating. Burial will follow at Smith-Austin Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 2 to 5 p.m. and again on Monday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Reecie entered this life on September 29, 1934, in Clarksville, TN to the late Ed G. Heflin and Verlie E. Oliver Heflin. She was a member of First Baptist Church, St. Bethlehem. Reecie was also a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Byard, and great-grandson, Logan Byard.
Survivors include her children, Ellis Dean Byard, Tommy Wayne Byard (Robin), Rusha Diane Murphree (Steve), Donna Mae Franklin (Roy), and Deborah Lynn Hagewood (Anthony); grandchildren, Cheri Taylor, Jessica Johnson (Donnie), Brandon Byard (Kyla), Casey Burrahm (Josh), Stacy Murphee, Jason Hagewood, and Jordan Farmer (Cody); great-grandchildren, Noah Byard, Gracie Byard, Sydney Knight (Austin), McKenzie Groves (Hadley), Landon Johnson, Madisyn Johnson, Caroline Burrahm, Jack Burrahm, Hudson Taylor, Drew Taylor, Parker Hagewood, Easton Farmer, and Raelynn Farmer; great-great-grandchild, Bennett Groves.
Serving as pallbearers will be Reecie’s sons-in-law, grandsons, and grandsons-in-law: Andy Hagewood, Josh Burrahm, Brandon Byard, Landon Johnson, Jason Hagewood, and Cody Farmer.
