Regina Mary Jane Taylor Todaro

1928 - 2021

Regina Mary Jane Taylor Todaro passed away peacefully on July 12, 2021 at the age of 93. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 5, 1928. She was a resident of Metairie since 1971. Regina was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years and the love of her life, Louis Todaro, her parents, Lovell Taylor and Regina Mary Jane Ruppel Taylor, her half-sister, Jacqueline Taylor Gorrondona, and her loving grandson, Dustin Jacob Tauzier. She is survived by her daughters, Janice Todaro Miller (the late Vollie) and Peggy Todaro Tauzier, her great-granddaughter, Kayla Tauzier Sharp (Austin), and her great-great-granddaughters, Lillian Sharp and Everleigh Sharp. She is also survived by her loving step-family, Elizabeth Miller Campbell (Brent), Samuel Alexander Campbell, Cory Campbell, Jennifer Miller Andras, Ryan Andras (Amanda), Soren Andras, and Jessica Andras. Regina was a graduate of Eleanor McMain High School. After high school she attended business school and was a secretary at United China and Glass Company and retired after 28 years of service. Regina enjoyed caring for her family, volunteering, and traveling. "Regina, Jean, Ge, Ge Ge, Mama, Grandma, Great-Grandma, or Great-Great-Grandma", whatever you called her, come celebrate a life well lived. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at St. Angela Merici Church, 901 Beverly Garden Dr. Metairie, LA.
