Not sure what to say?

Hard to believe it has been 4 years.
Still miss Regi very badly.
Such a good man and friend.

Reggie, I'm so sorry it's taken so long to connect. I was thinking about you tonight and wondering why I've not heard from you in so long and now I know.

I will miss you, but know you are happy in your peaceful garden.

Ron

I will miss your sweetness and beautiful smile most. You and Mike were my "rocks" while I waited for Carl to move here after he retired. It meant a lot that you were next door....Thank you for the years of sharing S'Mores on the Fourth with Nigel and thank you for all of your wonderful food treats. You made me laugh each time you called me "Anita"...reminder of a joke between us. May you rest in peace, Dear Heart. Jane and Carl, too, of course

My condolences to Mike and all Reggie's family and friends. It's with a heavy heart that I learned of Reggie's passing. I first met Reggie in 1968 we were both in the second class of Anne C Stouffer Foundation fellows, tasked with integrating southern prep schools. Just two weeks ago in Atlanta, we reunited for the first time in 40 years and some of the stories that we exchanged included Reggie. We'll miss him.

Regi is my brother-in-law. He dwells now only in our memories. He has been there for a generation. Regi and my brother love one another. He is family.

From 1999

Such a warm giving heart and a sweet man. Always friendly and smiling, concerned about you, no matter what was going on with him. Everyone loved him and he was a true nexus between so many, bringing them together for meals or all us traveling together. He was like a big sweet human glue stick! We had such vacations back in the day, traveling in a group to key west, vegas, Lazy Bear... and his fun trips to visit us in Brooklyn, happy just to sit and visit and eat the local food. I remember...

Reggie will always be remembered in our hearts as a Very Gentle Loving Man and Friend and Coworker at United Airlines.

With Our deepest sympathy

There is no summing up Regi Burns easily. He could always make you feel special, no matter how many people were around. It seemed like his goal was to find common ground once he met you.
He could quote something you'd told him years before. Regi was really listening.
He taught us about politics and how to be involved, but to have reasonable expectations of people.
So incredible in the kitchen. What made him happy was knowing he contributed to your experience by preparing a...
