Not sure what to say?

Pam,Beth and Caroline - I remember your mom fondly from when we were kids, lunch at Granny's house and birthday parties at the ranch. She was always funny and animated when she told stories. You all are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. So many wonderful memories come to mind as I think of Rene. She was always there with her wonderful stories and sense of humor. All of my family loved Rene and she was always a part of our family. God Bless you all during this time of loss.

My heartfelt condolences to Pam, Beth and Caroline during this time of loss and grief. Your mother was one of a kind, and was so fun to be around. Her generosity and hospitality, not to mention her gourmet meals for large groups, are such special memories for me and many others.

I knew Rene through her horses. She was a really good friend of my mother before mom passed. Mom love to get a phone call or visit from Rene. Sorry to hear of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers. Clay and Jo Johns Millsap, Tx.

Rene amazed and honored us all with her sincerity and openness. She cared for everyone; she treated everyone the same, which was kind and loving.

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I was so sad to hear of Rene's passing. She was such a good friend all through elementary to high school in Fort Worth. I last saw her in 1962 while my wife and I were in Las Vegas. We were walking across the casino floor when she yelled at me and came rushing over. It was a great reunion! I've missed her for years and will continue to hold her near my heart. My condolences to her family.

Never was there a more open, loving, giving person. I am so sorry for your loss. We met at McLean. I am rarely in Ft.Worth but when I pass the Compton's house I always think of her. Paula Mack Zieselman, NYC

I am so sorry for your loss. Rene and I were childhood friends back in our school days.
