Rex and I were never late for football practice but I am late in remembering a friendship that is still with me. Hopefully, he will save me a place on his new team. " Death is final, but relationships last forever."

As another Duke player from West Virginia, I quickly met Rex when he came my junior year. He told me he had a goal to become governor of WV one day. Seems his love for family and Duke was a bigger and better goal. Don Denne
