Not sure what to say?

It's hard to believe it's been eight years since Rex passed and more than forty years since we first met. The world is a lesser place for his absence.

It's hard to believe we're coming up on the five year anniversary of Rex's passing. He's still the smartest person I ever worked with and as fine an individual as I've ever met. He will always be missed.

I am broken hearted that such a kind wonderful man is gone. I knew him professionally and personally and he was such a brilliant man.

Four years later and his loss is still remembered regularly by anyone with the good fortune to call him a friend. He will always be missed, for there just are not enough people of his caliber in this world.

It's been four years since we lost Rex, and each day is a reminder how he influenced so many of us
with his optimistic look on life. What we saw as challenges he saw as opportunity.

The members and colleagues of REX A. BERTRAM from the ST. LOUIS UNIVERSITY School of Law prayerfully remember him at his passing. His talent as a lawyer, and leadership initiatives for those with disabilities, will give him a permanent niche in the history of our law school.
May he rest in peace, and may all of you be consoled!

Rex was our family attorney for more than 25 years and more importantly a true friend. His legal advice was very good but, his personal thoughts and advice helped our family so many times.
Rex will be truly missed, he is an inspiration to us all as he made the most of every day and led by example.

I had the privilege of meeting and working with Rex for the first time in law school. I owe any success I enjoyed there to his mentoring. He was an inspiration to me intellectually and personally. Generous with his wit, time and knowlege I could not imagine having gone through that process without him. Rex was a one of a kind person. A rare combination of brilliance, common sense and kindness. In short, he was the finest person anyone could hope to call a friend. He will be greatly missed by...

To everyone who was near to Rex.
I will miss Rex.
We named our grandson Alex Rex Polovina when was born, and Alex Rex Polovina was as a godson for Rex and Xhulia.
We are very lucky that his name will keep in our family for forever.
