We were very sad to hear of Rex passing, He was such a sweet man. Juan enjoyed spending time with him and loved painting his tractor. Such Respect and Appreciation for Rex's help with Sally and jj. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

Astrid, we met once at a Stanford's restaurant in Portland where we had dinner wit Craig Walker (Kozak), Bod Selander and Jim Gardner. We had a fun evening. I think we were Rex's favorites at the Army Reserve Unit and he was certainly our favorite Sergeant. When I came to Salem to go to law school from Alaska I had 60 days to get into a reserve unit and I went to Rex and he told me the unit I really belonged in was down the street so I went to that one and another and they said they were...
