He enjoyed spending time at home with his High School Sweetheart and Wife of 49 years, Connie Pettis, where they lived and raised their family. Rex was also actively involved in his Church playing the drums on the Worship Team. Rex had a contagious smile and outgoing personality that radiated from his soul. Did not always use “kid gloves” when teaching his lessons, but those lessons will continue to be taught for many generations to come. Rex Pettis had a heart of gold when it came to helping people with his time, talents and generosity. Rex passed at home of natural causes, surrounded by, and on the mind of, all those who loved him.
