I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family for the loss of a talented man, who will be remembered for his contribution to the music industry. May you find comfort and strength in God during this time of mourning.

I do remember the Cars. Mr Ocasek left behind a lot of great memories. I hope the family will benifit from those memories as you grieve. May God be with the family at this time.

Heaven got lucky. Not only a music Icon, but Ric was an amazing artist ! I was honored to sell his art & do two amazing shows in the gallery! He was one of the sweetest Rock Artists I have ever met. My condolences to the family. Ric you sure will be missed. Susan

I loved Ric Ocasek and The Cars. His music fit my mood perfectly. In fact, I own all of the Cars albums, some on vinyl. I thought he was a very interesting and unusual human being. I adored him!

I would have never gotten through my difficult and troubled family life without your music. Now you are singing with the angels!

The Cars were a big part of my life growing up. Even today I love listening to them, when I heard of Ric's passing, I was absolutely saddened. The world lost a brilliant songwriter, producer and amazing person all around. Ric, you are very much missed, I hope you and Benjamin Orr are together again in heaven giving the performance of your lifetime with all the others who passed on.
