I will always carry Mr Anderson in my heart with the many memories he provided as a teacher and band player at many of our dances at Bingham High. I loved his teaching style and the life lessons he included in teaching the skills for making a great choir. I went on to become a teacher for 30 years, and his example also prepared me for that career. Prayers and love to the family!

We are sorry for the loss of a great musician & director.
Every year in high school music was part of my world. The best madrigal experience has been remembered because of Mr Anderson´s efforts and training. He was an amazing educator!

I'll be forever grateful to Mr. Anderson. Before graduation from Bingham High School in1970, Mr Anderson talked me out of going to business school, and told me he could picture me teaching music. I finally retired after 40 years teaching music to jr high, high school, elementary, and community college students. He unequivocally changed my life and I am grateful that I had the chance to let him know what he meant to me. Rest in peace.

My condolences to the Anderson family. Richard taught me a lot about music and singing during my A Cappella Choir class at Bingham High School. That training helped me qualify to sing in the University of Utah Institute Choir at the April 1969 General Conference and the Blue Jacket Choir during basic training at the Naval Training Center in San Diego in 1972. Mr Anderson was a great man and great music teacher.
