You are still missed and remembered everyday.

Just learned of Dr. Barnes passing today when I had my six month dental appointment. Both of us had a strong interest in Civil War history and we always found the time to discuss something we had an interest about. My condolences to his family and friends.

God Bless you Always Richard. You are missed more than you know. You were a wonderful Husband, Father, Brother, friend and Dentist. Everyone could always count on you for a good laugh. You leave a hole in everyone's life that knew you. Rest in Peace

Dear Kathy,
We are so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. He is such a thoughtful, caring, kind man - he was a wonderful and supportive mentor for Mike and me when we were students at MCV and as we became involved in the VDA. He had such a great way of seeing the best in everyone! We always enjoyed seeing you two at meetings.
