I, too, express my sympathy to Dick's wife and family. There was no mention in the obituary of Dick's distinguished service to the Lehigh Valley Timing Association, a "hot rod club" of the 1950's. Under mentor Dopey Duncan, Dick and a few dozen other young men developed the first drag racing strip in the Eastern United States at Convair Airport in 1955. (There is a reunion of this group on May 15, 2005 in Allentown.) Dick's name appeared on the corporate papers when Lehigh Valley Timing...
