Not sure what to say?

My family and I are truly shook and saddened by the passing of Rick. We personally have been blessed to have had him in our lives for the past forty plus years. Rick and his father took me in as a summer intern at Hillcrest Park back in 1980, helping me complete my college degree. In 1981 I started to work full time with them and stayed until the park closed. Throughout the years of work and my life, Rick has been by my side, as I married my wife Denise and had two daughters Breanne and...

So sorry to hear of Rick's passing. He was lucky to have a loving family and be surrounded by wonderful friends. His kind heart will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Our heartfelt condolences to the whole family. Bob and Alyce langbein.

My condolences to the entire Barrie family. I was fortunate to have worked at both parks for several years, mostly Hillcrest Park as Corny the Clown.

My heart aches for Barb and the kids. Please know that my prayers are with you and my arms are wrapped around you.

We are so sorry about the passing of Rick. We have such great memories. Sending healing prayers and hugs

Laz, as we knew him, our College Dad! He was generous, hilarious, kind, and always there for us. I was one of Shaunna´s college roommates and still kept in touch thru emails randomly over the years. He always loved an update about my growing family and I enjoyed hearing from him. I am so heartbroken to hear about this untimely news. My heart aches for his close family and friends. There will definitely be a hole that cannot be filled but with memories of his big personality and even bigger...

Don & I had so much fun with Rick, Barb & Pam last year when we visited them at the Villages in Florida. We were looking forward to spending more time with you all. Rick, you will be missed. Sending prayers and hugs to your family. Rest In Peace

We bonded with Rick over a mutual love of girls softball. He was a true friend and we were so saddened to hear of his sudden passing. But we know that he was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven by his Savior with a resounding "Well done, good and faithful one!" Our deepest sympathies to Barb, Shaunna and Joshua.
