My family and I are truly shook and saddened by the passing of Rick. We personally have been blessed to have had him in our lives for the past forty plus years. Rick and his father took me in as a summer intern at Hillcrest Park back in 1980, helping me complete my college degree. My condolences to the entire Barrie family. I was fortunate to have worked at both parks for several years, mostly Hillcrest Park as Corny the Clown.

We bonded with Rick over a mutual love of girls softball. He was a true friend and we were so saddened to hear of his sudden passing.
