Not sure what to say?

I will always remember and treasure fishing for salmon with Dick. Great times on the water with a great fisherman and friend.

I feel so fortunate to know Dick and have him as a member of our extended Washington family, he set an example of independence, ambition and family values for all of us
God Bless the Battin Family

Richard Battan Sr. was a wounderful and compassionate man. He truley made the word a better place and I feel fortunate I had a chance to know him. He really was one of the nicest people I have ever met.

There are no words I have for the Battin clan to express the loss of this wonderful and unique man.

He spoke often of his love for Judy, his children and grandchildren. They delighted him and he was proud of every one of his kids and grand kids.

A fairly close second was his love for his tree farm and overall love for nature.

I was privileged to have frequent contact with Dick and always admired his quest to learn new things. He carried a lot of...
