I just found out about Dr Benoit’s passing and I'm deeply saddened by the news. He was my doctor for many many years, I followed him from the Noxen clinic to Dallas to Kingston and back, but when he moved his practice out of the area I was unable to go with him. I was never able to find a new doctor that I could count on or that was as caring as him. I thought many times about trying to get in touch with him but I never did. I always thought I would eventually run into him and if not I...

I met Dr. Benoit through a friend
when i moved to the area in 1994.
Since then he has been my doctor and my friend. Rich was the most down to earth doctor I have ever met. He always made you feel at ease. In the past few years I have been able to go motorcycle riding with him and just hang out and talk. His sudden death was a big shock to me and I will miss him very much. My condolences go out to his family. We all miss you Rich and I hope you are free and riding through the clouds...

I have always held my friend, Richard Benoit, in the highest esteem. He was a man who knew right from wrong,, and who knew love. An indomitable spirit really, his hearty laugh, spicy humor, and constant kindness and generosity, set him apart. Inside of a raucous joke here and there, was a humble man, who paid honor to many others in word and deed. He was dedicated to his work. And he never failed to mention his devotion to his 2 children, whom he adored more than himself. He spoke of them...

I am a fellow graduate of Wagner College on Staten Island and although I did not know Dr.Benoit personally, our paths may have crossed several times "on the Hill" at Wagner or in our daily travels in the back mountain. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family, friends and associates.
