Not sure what to say?

I miss him and my father.

Dick served as a major inspiration to many of us in the Capital Region. His warm, engaging personality is something I will always treasure. My sympathies go out to each member of his family.

Eternal Blessings Bouquet

Mr. Blackmer was someone I always looked up to and admired, a great role model for us kids growing up in Woodhaven. He was also a great friend to my Dad - I'm sure they are now enjoying sailing together once again! His spirit will live on!

We shared a similar enthusiasm for Windsurfing, which brought us together later on in life. He even lent me a spare skeg that he had, and when I asked him if I could buy it, he...
