Dick always had a huge smile and cheerful greeting for me whenever I came to Mt. Washington Methodist. He always begged me to return to choir. I met Dick at choir rehearsal in the fifties. He always added a light spirit to rehearsals. When I was an adult and a guest speaker at the church, he smiled the whole time. What a wonderful, fun guy. My love to Cheryl.

It was inspiring to see Dick trying his best to keep up with the younger contra dancers. He was one of the oldest dancers in the group and he loved the people and the music. I enjoyed dancing with him and hope I have his energy at his age! I could always count on him to bring fruit punch to the Sat. night dances. I will miss him.

Sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He will be hard put to replace at our bridge table on Tuesdays at the Rec Center, always full of fun and as he always said, "WOW I have 5 aces!" R.I.P. Richard.

What a special person. Full of life and energy to the end. I could never thank him enough for introducing me to ContraDance. I'm so glad we were able to celebrate his 84th birthday at the Monday night dance, not even a month ago. He will be missed.

The news of Dick's passing was very distressing as we were with him both
on Saturday at the Red Lobster and Sunday at IHOP. It hasn't quite set
in and since there was nothing to lead you to expect this, it impacts more. He was our FRIEND! He could be counted on to pick up Nellie's medication from Krogers in a pinch. He watched and loved our cats Trotter and Rufus and they both returned his affection. I recall when we first attended Mt Washington that he included his lost cat in...
