Not sure what to say?

Rich Braas...Passed through the Rocky Mountains... remembering our awesome trip out west. Miss you my friend!!

I can see him at the grill, cooking up his paella. I can hear his laugh around the dining room table at Christmas breakfast. He would text me every once in a while to see how I was doing or to wish me a Merry Christmas, or Happy Mother´s Day, or happy birthday. Thank you Rich for your service to your country. Thank you for always being so kind. And thank you for being a really fun cousin. Rest easy. We´ll set some pecan rolls aside for you at Christmas.

Rest In Peace my friend... I will remember your gentleness, your kindness, and your friendship. You left this world a better place!

My Dear Friend Richard, you will be missed as I will think of you often, your humor, smile and your never ending focus on making everyone around you enjoy themselves. Then of course you would fall asleep in the chair. You will be missed dear friend but knowing you are pain free suits it best.

Rich leaves behind fond memories, especially of our summer cookouts and the preparation of Christmas tamales. He was a wise soul. My sympathy to the Braas family.

Richard served as an MP in Germany in the early 70s
