Not sure what to say?

Dick,

I learned of your passing today. The world was a better and safer place while you were here. My heart and most sincere condolences go out to his family.

Dick,

I just reached out to you and they told me you were gone. I'm speechless. I will miss you. Your were my Godfather in the Company and I will always remember you. There will never be another like you, Dick. You always had my back. Always. You defined loyalty and friendship. You were like a Dad to me and again, you will be greatly missed. Until we meet again, my friend. Adios.

Dick how I will miss your wit and insight. You were more than my friend.

My sincere condolences to his family.

Dick(Guido) was my friend. He had my back in the early days of the modern U.S. Marshals service on numerous arrests with our nationwide strike forces, and stayed my friend, and always had my back, to the end. I loved the guy. I'll miss him. My best to his family.

Dick was truly a great law enforcement officer, and along with that a great friend ,I managed to stay in contact him until two days before his demise. I will miss him.Detective Edward H.Moravek Retired Newark.New Jersey Police Department. My heartfelt Condolences to Lois and the Family.

Dick's professional background was without question of the highest regard. But, what made Dick special was his friendship, which was a throwback to a bygone era. A time when your word was your bond, a handshake meant everything and there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for a friend. I was privileged that I think he would have called me his friend. I will truly miss (Jack - inside joke) him.
My condolences to everyone who called him friend and will miss him, but especially to Lois,...

I will always remember Dick as a friend and dedicated professional who was always there for you in times of need. His name often comes up at law enforcement functions in the New York area and is highly rergarded. We are truly saddened by this news and will always have fond memories of Dick. Our condolences to the Callahan family. John Cuff (USMS)
