Not sure what to say?

I just came across this and wanted to give my condolences. I worked for Dick at his Insurance company in Lafayette many years ago. He was great to work for and always enjoyed listening to his stories. Rest In Peace.

I just heard of Dick´s passing. He was a real gentleman who had a wonderful offbeat sense of humor. He was one of the best members of the Million Dollar Round Table I ever met. God bless you Dick.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

Dick was my friend for over 40 years. We met at a life insurance conference. He volunteered to MC a charity golf tournament and banquet I ran in Southern California - and did so at least 7 times over the years! He also introduced me to Lakers broadcaster Chick Hearn. He was gracious, funny, and had a heart of gold. I will miss him.!

"Mr. C", our beloved boss at MetLife. Dick was one very memorable man and working with him was fun. He was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge on sports. In fact, his memory level was exceedingly high and admirable. You were loved Richard John Callahan! God bless you.

I was shocked and saddened by the early morning conference call from Colleen, Kelly, and Katie barely able to speak through their tears to tell me their dad died earlier Thursday morning. Although apart for 30 years, Dick and I had a strong connection where our daughters were concerned. His love and support of them never faltered. I spoke with Dick the previous week never realizing it would be the last time. My prayers are with my daughters always.

His memory will live on in my heart forever. He was a great cousin.

I am so sorry about the passing of Richard. What a great man he was. His name will live on in our family. My son, Jesse and Richard talked about Baseball when Jesse was young and still has the A's items that Richard has sent to him. Your father was a great man.
