Not sure what to say?

I met Richard at Harvard Law School and we reconnected later at T&V Synagogue in NY. I came to know him as the brilliant version of the self I aspired to be. I was shocked by this news and wish comfort to his family.

I just now learned of this tragic loss. I remember so many wonderful discussions with Richard -- the first being when we met of the first night of staff orientation at Interlaken. His brilliance and inherent decency were hallmarks then and always. We had some contact over the years and always beautiful. I have fond memories of Richard as a staff member at Camp Interlaken. May his memory be a blessing to you all.

Thank you for so kindly remembering and honoring my father at this tremendously painful time. More than anything he would have wished for the journal he founded, Zeramim (www.Zeramim.org), to continue, that Jewish thought might continue to flourish, and the site become a resource for all. We are working to create a donation button on the site, but for now, donations can be sent to: Zeramim.org inc., c/o E.R. Claman 675 Third Avenue, 31st Floor New York, NY 10017

My sincere condolences. I met Richard in the summer of 1979 when we were both summer associates at Rosenman. I worked in the corporate department there from 1980-84 A very nice person and a fine lawyer !

Our sincere condolences
