Uncle Dick, I spent more time with you growing up than any of my uncles. We had more memories and that made you my favorite. You always had a smile for me, and me for you. Thanks for taking me to the fair when I was a teenager. Thanks for my monstrous lemon too. You were always a giver and a joker. Remembering Uncle Dick! how could you not remember a man who's laugh & giggle could fill a whole room with smiles.... i could be in a football stadium full of people & he could laugh & i would instantly know he was there.... when i was young he was so full of life & i remember how he treated all the kids (like they were somebody too) he made you feel special by taking the time to talk with you... to this very day i do the same to all kids because of him... but now you have left us... to be...

I remember as a kid playing at my aunt Opal & uncle Tonys Dick was always smilling and getting into mischief I am sure he is keeping the angels entertained he will be missed.

My father, Jim Pereira, was a resident at Windsor for a few months. During his rehab period he and Dick became great friends. I would drive up every week from Sacramento to spend a couple of days and I, during those visits, became very fond of him, as well. He was so sweet toward me, my daughter and granddaughter.
