Mrs. DeCamp, Tom, Joe and Holly - I was saddened to read about the loss of your husband and father. I always appreciated his dry sense of humor. My favorite memory of him happened in the late 1970s, when I was working in downtown Fort Wayne. I was having a business lunch at the Pickle on the Landing, when I spotted your dad across the room. He waved, and then watched as the waitress proceeded to dump a beer she was serving at the next table onto my lap. I was cleaning myself up as best I could, when your dad ambled over. He quietly leaned down and said, "You really should work on that drinking problem," then walked away. It made me laugh when I was pretty upset with the waitress. I'll always appreciate him for that! Treasure your memories.
