Not sure what to say?

I met Dick in 1983 when he, I, and a few officers were selected to implement the "Phase IV" computer enhancement program for the then Tactical Air Command, now Air Combat Command. We had a lot of travel and adventures for the next three years as we configured and installed computer systems throughout TAC. I transferred to Keesler AFB, MS in 1986, but we kept in touch via Christmas cards. On a visit to D.C. a few years back, after I retired and returned to the Langley area, we spent an...

We had a lot of travel and adventures for the next three years as we configured and installed computer systems throughout TAC. I knew Dick when he started at Reston as a computer operator. He told me he retired from the military and had just started his government career. One thing about Dick he was persistent in his career. Next he joined SAS and ended being my cube mate for about 8 years then my supervisor. He kept me entertained with countless stories about his huge family and of course about his children. My condolences to his family.

We are deeply saddened to learn of Dick's passing. Our memories of him are full of the joy he brought to the many football venues we shared. May the Lord keep you and bless you and my you take comfort in knowing that a special guardian angel is watching over you. With love,

I am very saddened to learn of Dick's passing. He and I worked together at the National-Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA). He was always an upbeat and happy guy -- always fun to talk to and be around. He was also a man who impressed me by his thoughtfulness of other people that he knew and worked with. Although I never directly met any of his family, I could always tell from the way he spoke of them that he truly loved his wife and children. May God bless Dick and his entire family!

May God keep you in his arms until the pain soon fade away.

Our condolences to the Eckhoff family for the loss of your dear loved one. We are thinking of you at this difficult time, and hoping that you find comfort in your memories of happier moments

It is never easy to lose a loved one, I pray you find comfort in Gods promise found at John 6:40 which says that soon we will see all our loved ones again. My deepest condolences to the family.
