Not sure what to say?

Dick Weaver was a phenomenal man. Kind and loving family man who lived to share a good laugh and stories from the past. He was my Dad's best friend - they knew each other for 72 years. Dick was a joy to our whole family and we have many fond memories that will comfort us when we think of the loss of this special man
God give him peace and eternal joy.

Dick Weaver, God broke the mold when he made you! You gave and gave and gave - of your time, your resources and your thoughtfulness. I shall cherish our lunch dates as well as your friendship. Also will fondly remember you and Jan bringing fresh blueberries or strawberries to my MSU office to share with me and others. Your booming voice and laugh will be missed but now you are at peace with your loving Jan. May you laugh with the Angels and walk through fields of flowers with Jan til we meet...

Dick was a wonderful Godfather and friend to me. As a close friend of my Dad Ray Tobin, our family adopted Dick and were thrilled with any visit he made to see us over the years. Recently Dick and I had the pleasure of meeting his Battalion Commander from Korea - 94 years old - retired General Frederick Kroesen. It was a thrill for Dick to see him after 65 years and a thrill for me to be present. My Dad passed away on January 26th and for Dick to also pass made us wonder if they had a...

If, when facing a challenge or an opportunity, I would ask, "What would Dick Weaver do?" the world would be a better place, and I would be a much better person.

Marie and Ted, I am sorry for your loss, he was quite an accomplished Man. Great to hear that a St Andrews student did so well in His life.
Art Theismann Jr. your old back yard neighbor

We at Kentucky Wesleyan College are saddened to hear of Dick's passing. He is now with his beloved Jan for all eternity. As we celebrate Jan's scholarship each year, we will remember Dick's passion for education and helping young men and women. Rest well, dear friend. Enjoy your eternal rewards.

There really aren't words to say just how much Dick Weaver will be missed. He made dreams come true. My son was an avid Jimmy Johnson fan and Dick had a relative who worked for Hendrick & was able to get Jesse an autographed photo among some other items that will be forever cherished. The gifts were wonderful, but his friendship was an even greater gift. Dick was an amazing human being that showed kindness to everyone! We loved him so! Murray won't be the same. Dick Weaver was a legend...

I am sorry to learn of Dick's passing. I went to work for him as his secretary in May, 1961 at RCA in Bloomington. What a wonderful man and gentleman. Also had the privilege of typing Jan's Doctoral Thesis in the spring and summer of 1964. My husband I received a Christmas card from Dick every Christmas until this past Christmas. I knew when we did not hear from him that he was not well. Rest in peace, Dick.

The world is a better place because of the life of Dick Weaver. I welcomed Dick and Jan to Murray 33 years ago as their Realtor. Dick was an inspiration for me to establish Murray's Kids Care for Hunger and led me and encouraged me to establish Murray's Kids Care for Hunger in the Murray Calloway County Community Foundation. He was a fellow Rotarian and was an example for all that he showed "Service Above Self". Dick, Murray is so grateful for your feelings and contributions.
