To me he was my Confirmation sponsor and my Uncle Dick. Great sense of humor and good man. While distance and circumstances separated us, my childhood memories of happy family get-togethers are close to my heart. I'll never forget the time he played Santa Claus when we still lived on Lawndale -- I was probably about 6 and don't think I figured it out till I overheard my mom the next morning. Now I will pray for his immortal soul so that soon he can pray for mine.

The Lord has added a great saint to his ranks. Mr. Fiala was a wonderful man with a fabulous sense of humor. Can't ever forget how shocked he was when first meeting me and I had no idea who Harry Caray or Mike Ditka were.
I will miss your winning smile.....God Bless
Mrs Fiala and Eden's Family...may the Lord grant you wonderful memories in which you will be comforted.
