Not sure what to say?

Always missed and never forgotten...my brother Richard was always a larger than life presence in my life. After all, he was 4 1/2 yrs. older from my start. He had many virtues. I will only share one here. His will. Towards the end of his life Rick came down with shingles...not once but twice. He was in agonizing pain and applied prescription pain patches constantly. I think that they were fentanyl . At a certain point he felt he was becoming addicted to the pain meds...so he just ripped off...

He saved my life, and gave me the needed steps to wellness. I will never forget him, ,nor will my wife.

Another wonderful photo. Xox

These are such wonderful notes. So very grateful. Sue

Dearest Sue, Jeremiah, Rebecca and brother, Dan,
So sorrowful about the loss of Rick. You were his circle of love and he yours. We felt so blessed be be called his friend. Love you; there for you now and always. Gail and Marti

To Sue and the family,
Dr. Friedman was a great man who left the world a better place for us all. He also left a legacy for his family to be proud of.

I had the fortune to work with Rick many years ago early in my career. He was a brilliant and caring boss; I learned so much from him. He was a physician from "the old school", in the best possible sense. I'll never forget the long note he wrote to me when my father was dying- deeply compassionate. I then went on to work for and now with Sue, and still do. So I know first hand what a committed couple they were. I wish Sue and the family deep condolences. May his memory be a blessing.
