Dr, Gemma helped train me in anesthesiology at Ohio State between 1976 and 1978. I always regretted that due to the administrative arrangement blow-ups at the university in the late 1970s I was never able to become his full professional partner; however, I was able to be very peripherally associated with him when I was at Grant Hospital in later years.
