Based on how heartbroken I am, I cannot even conceive of the pain and shock you must be experiencing. Rick was so much more than a boss to me; he was a friend, mentor, and sage. He believed in me so sincerely, and as such, he inspired a certain confidence that I will have the pleasure of retaining for the rest of my personal and professional life. It was with great shock and sadness to learn of the passing of an old friend and former classmate at St. Mary's in Brookline. Rick re-established his friendship with the Class of 1971 after our 30th Class Reunion and it was a pleasure to sit, chat, and laugh with him about old times and the antics of the "nuns" in the high school as well as the grammar school! Rick, aka Ricky will live on forever in the hearts and minds of so many who loved and admired him. My prayers go to his wife Leslie and family at this time of loss. He was and always will be truly extra-ordinary!
