Richard Dennis "Denny" Glick

I am saddened to hear of Denny's passing. I worked with him on the KJRY for many years and enjoyed the many tales he spun. This reminds me of a story the late Denny Glick of KJRY and Rock Island fame told me about a weed sprayer train he was working. Denny was a Rock Island conductor back in the days of 5 man crews so he gave a job briefing that went something like this: OK guys we are going to shove the weed sprayer train down this stub track and SPRAY on the way out to the main.
