Not sure what to say?

I coached with Dick in Lafayette in 65-66. Excellent baseball coach and good friend. RIP my friend...

Rest in Peace, my friend !! We will miss you and your VOICE !!

Dick was a delight to know and banter with. He'll be missed.

I miss him. Thanks to the marvels of streaming, we got to hear his voice every week. High School was not that long ago.

Heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Dick Harlan. He was a very good person, an exemplary Kiwanian, and he will be missed by many. He was the guy who made a lot of our Kiwanis projects work and he did it all with a great sense of humor.

I wish Dick's life had gone into "multiple overtimes"! I feel so fortunate that we met each other through the Valparaiso Kiwanis Club. He was a person with a great deal of humor and compassion who was a wonderful friend. We are going to miss him very much. We know he will enjoy his time at that "big family reunion". May he rest in peace in the arms of the Lord! We wish to extend our deepest condolences to the Harlan Family.

I enjoyed knowing Dick so much during the many years we shared responsibilities at VU Crusader basketball games. He was a great tease and full of fun--I already miss him a lot and send my prayers to TR and all of the Harlan family. Rest in God's hands, Richard. Dot Nuechterlein

Dick was a good man; I was privileged to have made his acquaintance on a golf course, Forest Park, Valparaiso, Indiana. May he be peaceful in his eternal slumber and remain shanlkless. Deep felt condolences to his family and friends. Walt MELION, Valparaiso, IN.

A true professional in the field of broadcasting, he will truly be missed. Rest in peace Dick.
