Richard A. Hauri, 81, of Union passed away December 13, 2022.
He was born July 20, 1941 in Libertyville to Walter and Lydia (Pohlman) Hauri. Richard was a lifelong dairy farmer. He loved gardening and taking care of his fruit trees. He also enjoyed snowmobiling and hot dog roasts with family and friends.
Richard is survived by his sister, Carol Wilhelm; his nieces and nephew, Kelly Smith, Cheryl Smith, Jackie Wilhelm, Jeff Wilhelm; his great-nieces and nephew, Kristin Fritz, Molly Fritz, Christina Brown, Melissa Wilhelm, Jacob Fritz; and his great-great nieces and nephews, Emily Cassan, Katy Cassan, Allie Cassan, Jimmy Cassan, Aiden Brown, Bryson Brown, Cameron Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Joanne Smith, and his brother-in-law, Jim Wilhelm.
There will be a visitation from 9am to 11am on Saturday, January 14 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 6821 Main St, Union. A memorial service will follow at 11am.
