News Death Notice
HAZEL, Richard L. Age 92 of Kettering passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Preceded in death by his parents Esther and Fred L. Hazel and siblings Catherine and Tom. Richard is survived by his wife Marjorie Hazel, son Mike (Thelma) Hazel, daughter Karen (Tim) Bennett, grandchildren: Christina, Andrew, Trey, and Alayna, and great-grandchildren Heather and Jason. Richard worked at NCR for over 37 years, and then for the City of Kettering for 10 years. He was the longest surviving member at Sugarcreek Presbyterian Church. Richard loved the outdoors, especially boating and camping. Funeral Service will be 2pm, Friday, July 8, 2016 at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel. Visitation from 1pm until the time of service Friday. Burial in Beavertown Cemetery. www.tobiasfuneralhome.com

We are sorry to learn about Mr. Hazel's death. We can remember him walking over to his job with the city back when we first moved across the street. He was always so active and independent. Our condolences to Margie, Mike, Karen, and to all the family. We will keep you in our prayers.
