Nancy L. Bechtolt, age 85 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 28, 2026. She was born August 11, 1940 in Gallipolis, Ohio. The daughter of the late John and Winiferd (Dixon) Turvey.
Nancy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a passion for playing Bingo, shopping, and traveling. Nancy's pride and joy was her family and spending as much time with them as she could. She will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
In addition to her parents Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Penny Blackburn; and brother-in-law, Marvin Deck.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Robert "Bob" Bechtolt Jr.; children, Luann (Bill) Woodyard, Paula (Bill) Charles, Terri (Pat) Hoover, and Bob (Barb) Bechtolt III; grandchildren, Bill Jr. (Becky), Renee, Savannah (Adam), Kameron, Michael, Christina (Dallas), Tammy, Bobby, Cheyenne, and Siera; host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Rowland and Barbara Deck; brother-in-law, Michael Blackburn; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
