Frances I. Bechtolt

Of Lake Tomahawk. Passed away on Monday, November 7th, 2022, at the age of 88. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Margaret Cotherman, her husband Naaman Bechtolt, sister Marian, brother John, son-in-law Brian Reed. Dear mother of Kimberly Reed of Franklin, WI. Loving grandmother of Jessica (Mark) Boccia of Mokena, IL. Beloved great-grandmother of Reed and Faith. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held at House of Prayer Lutheran Church (3900 W. Ryan Road, Franklin) on Friday, November 11th from 11-12pm with a funeral service to follow at 12pm. Interment at Wilderness Rest Cemetery, Lake Tomahawk on Wednesday, November 16th at 11am.

Fran and Naaman retired in 1989 to Lake Tomahawk. Active member of the auxiliary and the lioness organization. Also, an active member of the United Methodist Church of the Pines. Over the years she enjoyed making her families favorite dishes, desserts, and appetizers. At her Lake Tomahawk home, she enjoyed the beauty of the lake watching the boats and fisherman. She loved watching the hummingbirds and loons.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the United Church of the Pines (Minocqua, Wisconsin) are appreciated.
