Not sure what to say?

dick was an awesome man.........I will miss you

My deepest sympathy to the Howe family. I was fortunate to have Mr. Howe as a coach. He made me discover things I never new I had, physically and intellectually. His encouraging words and a pat on the back were gold to me.
A kind man with a kind soul. Rest in peace, Coach.

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Howes passing. I truly will miss him as a friend and a patient in our dental office. MaryAnne from zajacz dental care

I have many happy memories of teaching across the hall from Dick at Alderwood Collegiate. My happiest of these memories was our time on the Mediterranean Cruise. While Dick and I were working hard (?) performing our duties attending meetings, and chaperoning students, Betty and my husband who had joined us as "attachments" spent their time together.
There are countless former students who have fond memories of Dick, and who benefitted from his understanding and wise counselling. Rest...

My condolences to Mrs. Howe, Scott and Craig.

My sincere condolences to the entire Howe Family. I remember Mr. Howe coaching us to the Ontario Lacrosse Championship in Owen Sound back in 1971. Although lacrosse was new to Mr. Howe, playing as a cohesive team was right up his alley. When I received a lazy penalty against the other team, I was afraid to head back to face the wrath of Mr. Howe. When I headed back to the bench after the penalty, I got the steely eyed stare from the big guy. Mr. Howe, thanks for being a great mentor and teacher.

SINCERE APPRECIATION OF A LIFE WELL LIVED
CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY

My sincere condolences to the Howe family. I had the good fortune of growing up in Alderwood during the fifties/sixties,and at the core of those experiences was Alderwood Collegiate.Valuable life lessons were learned there, both in the classroom and on the football field with Mr.Howe-among them-personal integrity and the ability to persevere. There is a debt of gratitude owed by many.R.I.P.-you are truly deserving. Dennis Leigh - A.C.I.-1961-66.

Awesome teacher, awesome coach, awesome gentleman. Our condolences to the family.
