Richard HOWELL Obituary
Born on November 21, 1942 in Lansing, MI, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2013 in Sacramento, CA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Edna Howell, and brother, Robert Howell. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; daughters, Kristen Ordon (Mario) and Jennifer Beardsley (Wes); grandchildren Carissa, Alexa, Kyle, and Matthew; and, brother Victor Howell (Donna) and sisters Shirley Lang (Bob), Wanda Rosell (Charley), and Judy Gleason (Bill). He served in the United States Marine Corps as a paratrooper and was the broker/owner of Gold Valley Real Estate since 1978. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, skydiving and spending time with his family. He will be greatly and dearly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held January 2 at 11:00 at Harry A. Nauman and Son Funeral Home, 4041 Freeport Blvd. Following the service, a gathering will be held at Goeman's Lounge, 7123 Franklin Blvd, Sac. Interment at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd, Dixon on Friday, Jan. 3 at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Richard V. Howell to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2425 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95817.

It was with great sorrow hearing about my Uncle Butch (Richard) passing. Our Deepest Sympathy to my Aunt Bonnie, Kristen and Jennifer. Time will heal the pain, loving memories will last forever. Since losing Mom,Dad and both sets of Grandparents those last words hold true. I'm so sorry that I will not be able to attend the funeral but my heart and loving thoughts of him will be. From one military service member to another, I salute him. This is the part of life that everyone knows about and dreads. Again, I'm so sorry Aunt Bonnie, Kristen and Jennifer.

Please accept my most heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Dick was my first mentor in real estate in 1993 at Gold Valley II in Laguna. He let me make small payments on my real estate course and bought me my first C-21 Gold jacket. Fond memories. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
