Hudspeth, Richard L., (a.k.a. Rick Gannon) on-air radio personality in Wichita for over 40 years, passed away, Wed, Feb. 1, 2012 at the age of 67. Memorial Service: 1 p.m. today at Cochran Mortuary, 1411 N. Broadway (parking off of Market St.). He loved his family and will be greatly missed....

I bought your yellow 1965 Corvette when you were at KLEO. We used to play cards at your house after you got off work and I would fall asleep because I had to go to work by 7:00am. I miss you.

The Southeast Class of '62 has suffered a huge loss. At our class reunions, Rick always took us back to the '60s with his own special DJ presentations. We will dearly miss him, and especially this year of our 50th reunion. Condolences to Vicki and their family.

I worked with Rick at Boeing and he was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. So sorry to hear of his passing. I will remember him in my prayers.
