Dick was a good friend and a great leader. For many years he was the heart and soul of E.U.E.
Screen Gems West. In 1969, he took a chance on a young director and for that, I will forever
be grateful. Kerns was a master at running production companies and even better at creating
unspoken respect and friendship. I will always look up to Dick and someday I hope we can play
another game of pool upstairs.

I will miss that great smile, his sense of humor and giving him big hugs that he always asked for and welcomed from me. RIP
